Bukkake: My Experience, Advice and Personal Journey

Sexuality is different for everyone. Some practices are very appealing to some people, while others have absolutely no interest in them. As always, what matters most is consent, respecting everyone's boundaries, communication and prevention.

Today, on Hinatou, I wanted to talk openly about bukkake, a practice that has become widely known through pornography, but whose organization and reality are often quite different from what you might imagine simply by watching a video.

What exactly is a bukkake? Where does the term come from? What is the difference between a bukkake and a gangbang? How do you organize this type of encounter? What precautions should be taken when several participants are involved?

I'll try to answer these questions simply, while also sharing my personal experience with bukkake and what I've learned through my different experiences and shoots.

What is a bukkake?

The term bukkake refers to a sexual practice generally involving one person and several partners, with the scene centered around the different participants ejaculating onto that person.

The number of participants isn't really what defines the practice. It can involve just a few partners or a much larger group.

In pornography, the term is now used quite broadly and can refer to scenes that are very different from one another.

Where does the word bukkake come from?

The word bukkake comes from Japanese. Originally, the term isn't exclusively sexual: it is based around the idea of pouring or splashing something over something else.

Its use in a sexual context later became widespread through Japanese pornography before the term became internationally known.

What's the difference between a bukkake and a gangbang?

The two terms are sometimes confused because they generally involve several participants, but they don't describe exactly the same thing.

A gangbang primarily refers to a sexual encounter in which one person has sex with several partners during the same encounter.

A bukkake, on the other hand, refers to a practice centered around several participants ejaculating onto the same person. It is therefore not defined by the number of sexual acts or penetrations that may have taken place beforehand.

The two can nevertheless be part of the same scene: a gangbang can, for example, end with a bukkake. Conversely, it is entirely possible to take part in a bukkake without having a gangbang.

That's the important distinction: a gangbang primarily describes a sexual encounter with multiple partners, while a bukkake is primarily defined by several participants ejaculating onto the same person.

My first bukkake

I had my first bukkake fairly soon after I started exploring the swinging lifestyle. I wasn't alone for that first experience either: I was with a female friend, and it was her first time as well.

As with many things when I first started discovering the swinging scene, I mainly wanted to try it and find out whether this practice that appealed to me would actually be something I enjoyed once I experienced it for myself.

And the answer came pretty quickly: I immediately enjoyed the experience. I liked being the center of attention, watching the men enjoying themselves for us, and discovering all the sensations and the particular atmosphere surrounding this type of encounter.

Another thing I enjoyed was the very visual side of bukkake and ending the encounter with my body covered in semen. It was something I'd wanted to experience, and I ended up really enjoying it from that very first time.

Over the years and through different experiences, however, I've discovered that I personally prefer gangbangs. I find their intensity and the overall experience even more exciting. But that certainly doesn't stop me from enjoying a bukkake: they're simply two different experiences that don't give me exactly the same sensations.

That first experience therefore remains a very good memory, and above all it confirmed something I would discover many more times through swinging: there can sometimes be a difference between what you imagine you'll enjoy and what you actually enjoy once you've experienced it. In my case, when it came to bukkake, I knew very quickly that I liked it.

Why I enjoy this practice

Over the years, the way I experience bukkake has evolved. The things I enjoyed in the beginning are still there, but I've also discovered other things that I enjoy today and that I didn't necessarily do during my first experiences.

I still really enjoy the visual side of the practice and being the center of attention. And the more I'm covered, the more it tends to turn me on. That's genuinely an important part of the pleasure I get from a bukkake.

Over time, I've also started enjoying oral sex more, including swallowing with certain partners. It wasn't something I used to do. Today, it depends very much on the person and how I feel at the time: with some people I naturally want to, while with others I don't want to at all.

There's even a little element of curiosity that I didn't have before: wondering what a particular partner will taste like. It might seem like a small detail, but for me it's also part of the experience and the unpredictable nature of each encounter.

Ultimately, I rely a lot on how I feel in the moment. I can take part in the same practice several times without experiencing it in exactly the same way, because what I want depends on the people who are there, the atmosphere and how turned on I am at the time.

That's also why, even after many experiences, I still enjoy bukkakes: I know what excites me about the practice, but every encounter remains different.

How I organize a bukkake

One of the advantages of bukkake compared with a gangbang is that I can much more easily open the encounter to everyone. With my gangbangs, outside of certain encounters organized in clubs, I can be more selective about the participants. With a bukkake, I approach things differently.

I generally make no particular selection based on age or physical appearance. Anyone can potentially take part. What matters most to me is respecting the announced rules, good hygiene and, of course, appropriate behavior both before and during the encounter.

I regularly organize these encounters in places where it's fairly easy to bring several people together, such as certain sex shops or outdoor swinging locations like the Baie des Cochons in Cap d'Agde.

The announcements are generally public and posted on my website or social media. This allows me to announce the location, time and main rules of the encounter in advance, so that anyone interested knows what to expect before coming.

I also enjoy sharing these moments with female friends. I've taken part in several bukkakes alongside other women, including La Gitane, Tara and Lena. I find that it creates a different atmosphere and adds a collective side to the experience that I particularly enjoy.

Obviously, the more participants there are, the more important it becomes for the boundaries and rules to be clear from the beginning. The fact that an encounter is open doesn't mean that anything goes: everyone has to respect what was announced, and consent remains essential at every moment.

Consent is essential in any sexual encounter, but a situation involving several people requires particular attention.

Every participant needs to understand the rules and boundaries established before the encounter. Anyone must also be able to change their mind or ask for a particular activity to stop at any time.

Testing, PrEP and STI prevention

As with any practice involving multiple partners, bukkake requires taking the prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) seriously.

Personally, I take PrEP every day, which greatly reduces the risk of acquiring HIV when taken correctly. However, it doesn't protect against other STIs, which is why regular testing is also important to me.

I also prefer to be transparent about the way I personally do things: I don't enjoy oral sex with a condom. Some people use them and are perfectly comfortable doing so, but personally I don't enjoy either the sensation or the taste.

And contrary to what you might expect, I sometimes meet men who prefer to keep a condom on, including for oral sex. Quite often they're married men... I'll let you guess why. ? In any case, everyone sets their own boundaries and I respect them.

After a bukkake, I generally have an STI screening around ten days later. That's how I personally organize my follow-up, but different STIs have different testing windows. Depending on the infection being tested for, a test may need to be performed or repeated later.

Oral sex and contact with certain bodily fluids can transmit different STIs. For me, taking PrEP and getting tested regularly are therefore part of the way I manage the risks, without pretending that they make those risks disappear completely.

Mistakes to avoid during a bukkake

Through experience, there are a few mistakes that seem fairly obvious to me and are best avoided. A bukkake should remain a consensual and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

For me, the number of participants or the final result matter far less than the atmosphere and respect for the rules. If something doesn't feel right to me during an encounter, I'd rather simply say no or stop than continue just because it had been planned.

What my different experiences have taught me

Over the years, the way I experience bukkakes has changed considerably. At first, I was discovering the practice out of curiosity. Today, I understand much better what I like, what I want... and especially what I don't want to do.

I've also learned that good organization makes an enormous difference. The more participants know what to expect, the more relaxed and enjoyable the encounter is for everyone. That's also why I always announce the rules in advance.

I've also learned that you should never force yourself. Some desires change over time. For example, today I sometimes take semen in my mouth and swallow with certain participants, which wasn't something I did when I first started. With other people, however, I simply don't want to. I rely a lot on how I feel in the moment, and I think it's important to listen to yourself rather than trying to please everyone at all costs.

Another thing experience has taught me is that the quality of a bukkake has absolutely nothing to do with the number of participants. An encounter with a few respectful men, a good atmosphere and clear rules will often give me far more pleasure than a much larger but poorly organized encounter.

Ultimately, what all these experiences have taught me most is that a successful bukkake is primarily based on respect, consent, communication and trust. That's what still makes me want to organize them regularly today.

Bukkake FAQ

What exactly does bukkake mean?

In its modern sexual use, the term bukkake refers to a practice involving several participants and centered around them ejaculating onto the same person. It is primarily this characteristic that defines bukkake, rather than any other sexual activities that may also take place during the encounter.

What's the difference between a bukkake and a gangbang?

A gangbang primarily refers to a sexual encounter in which one person has sex with several partners during the same encounter. Bukkake, on the other hand, is centered around several participants ejaculating onto one person. The two can nevertheless be combined: a gangbang can, for example, end with a bukkake, while a bukkake can perfectly well take place without a gangbang.

How many participants are needed for it to be considered a bukkake?

There isn't really a specific number. A bukkake can involve a few participants or a much larger group. Through experience, I've also learned that numbers don't necessarily determine the quality of the encounter: atmosphere, respect and organization matter much more to me.

Does a bukkake necessarily involve penetration?

No. Penetration is absolutely not what defines a bukkake. That's actually one of the important differences between bukkake and a gangbang. Other sexual activities may take place during the encounter, including oral sex, but they aren't necessary for it to be considered a bukkake.

How do I organize my bukkakes?

My announcements are generally public on my website or social media. Unlike some of my other encounters, I generally don't select participants based on their age or appearance. What I mainly ask for is good hygiene, respect for the announced rules and appropriate behavior. I organize them in various swinging locations, sex shops and outdoor locations, including the Baie des Cochons in Cap d'Agde.

Do I always take part alone?

No. I also enjoy sharing some bukkakes with female friends. I find that it changes the atmosphere of the encounter and adds a collective aspect that I really enjoy.

Can you get an STI from a bukkake?

Yes. The absence of penetration doesn't mean there is no risk. Some STIs can be transmitted through oral sex or other forms of sexual contact. The level of risk depends on the activities involved and the protection used.

Do I take PrEP?

Yes, I personally take PrEP every day. For me, it's one part of my HIV prevention strategy, but it doesn't protect against other STIs. That's why regular testing also remains important in the way I manage the risks.

When do I get tested?

After a bukkake, I generally have an initial STI screening around ten days later. However, different STIs have different testing windows, and some tests may need to be performed or repeated later. The appropriate testing schedule depends in particular on the infections being tested for and the recommendations of the healthcare professional providing the follow-up.

Do I use condoms for oral sex?

Personally, I don't enjoy oral sex with a condom. Some people nevertheless prefer to use one, and of course I respect their choice. Everyone should be able to decide which forms of protection and which sexual activities they are comfortable with.

Does taking part in a bukkake mean anything goes?

Absolutely not. Taking part in a bukkake never means automatically consenting to every sexual activity. The rules and boundaries must be clear, and everyone remains free to refuse something even after the encounter has already started.

Can someone change their mind during the encounter?

Yes, at any time. Agreeing at the beginning never takes away someone's right to change their mind later. That applies to me as much as to the participants: everyone can refuse an activity or ask to stop.

Can a bukkake be filmed?

Yes, but the people being filmed must obviously have given their consent. Filming and publishing the footage are also two different things: distributing the content requires the people involved to have agreed to the use of their image.

Do I enjoy bukkakes more today than when I first started?

The way I experience them has mainly evolved. I enjoyed the practice from my very first experience, but over the years I've learned much more precisely what I enjoy and where my boundaries are. Some of my desires have also changed over time. Today, I rely heavily on how I feel in the moment, and I don't necessarily experience two bukkakes in exactly the same way.

Does the number of participants matter to me?

Not necessarily. The group aspect is obviously part of what attracts me, but I'm not trying to break any records. A few participants with whom the atmosphere feels right can give me a much better experience than a huge, poorly organized group.

Conclusion: a practice I still enjoy just as much

I discovered bukkake fairly soon after I started exploring the swinging lifestyle, and I immediately enjoyed the practice. Over the years, the way I experience it has evolved, and so have my desires, but the pleasure I get from it is still there.

I particularly enjoy the group aspect, being the center of attention and the whole atmosphere that develops around me. Even though I personally prefer gangbangs for their intensity, bukkake remains a different experience that I enjoy and still like to organize and share, sometimes with female friends.

Above all, experience has taught me that there is no such thing as a perfect bukkake defined by a certain number of participants or a list of things that absolutely have to happen. I much prefer an encounter with a good atmosphere, where everyone respects the rules and where I can follow what I feel like doing in the moment.

As with any sexual practice, nobody has to try something simply because they've seen it in a video or because a partner wants them to. For me, pleasure is first and foremost about genuine desire, consent, respecting boundaries and using prevention strategies appropriate to your own situation.
